Senior Engineer, Site Development

Responsibilities

Work as a senior member of a design team under the Project Manager to design and produce private site development plans. You will perform and direct the performance of plan development in CAD as well as required engineering calculations. You will be involved in projects from the conceptual phase, through the initial planning submittals, and final design, and provide post-design consultation as needed. Responsibilities may include:

Site grading, storm sewer, and stormwater management design including calculations.

Public and private utility design including water and sewer mains, and sanitary sewer capacity calculations.

Low-speed/urban roadway and parking lot design.

Plan notes and details.

Coordination of design with Client and their architectural and MEP consultants.

Utility and stakeholder coordination and outreach.

Ensuring site design compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-Accredited Institution.

Registration as a Professional Engineer in Ohio or the ability to obtain registration within 6 months.

4+ years (required)/10+ years (preferred) of experience in site design, development, and permitting.

Experience using CAD software is required. Experience with 3D site/utility modeling suites preferred.

Stormwater modeling experience is strongly preferred; experience with HydroCAD is preferred. xywuqvp

Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to direct work and provide mentorship to others.
