Production / Machine Operator
We’re seeking dependable, mechanically inclined Operators to support daily manufacturing and production operations. This role can apply to a variety of production environments and is ideal for individuals with hands on experience, a strong work ethic, and attention to quality. What You’ll Do
Operate and monitor production or packaging equipment
Use basic computer systems or controls to run machines
Monitor output and perform quality checks throughout the process
Handle materials and stack finished product as required
Pull samples or complete inspections to ensure product standards are met
Accurately document production activity and report issues
Assist with minor troubleshooting and process adjustments
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
Work collaboratively with teammates to keep production running efficiently
Physical requirements may include:
Standing, walking, and reaching for extended periods
Lifting light to moderate weight regularly, with occasional heavier lifts ️ What We’re Looking For
1+ year of experience in manufacturing, production, machine operation, construction, or industrial work
Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with equipment
Experience with quality checks or process monitoring
Basic math and computer skills
Ability to work extended shifts on your feet
Reliability and strong attendance Nice to Have
Construction or mechanical experience
Familiarity with automated or semi automated equipment
Strong problem solving skills
Good housekeeping and organization habits Work Environment
Manufacturing or production setting
Safety and quality focused operation
PPE typically required and provided
Team based work environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Iowa City, IA.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
