Overview:
Summary of the position: Our Electronic Technician team is responsible for maintaining ride, sound, and other park electronic and electro/mechanical systems.
Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilties
Installing, maintaining, and repairing of ride sound, park sound, and other park electronic and electro/mechanical systems
Troubleshooting to the component level of equipment
Other tasks and duties as assigned
Maintain a positive interaction with guests and other employees
Qualifications:
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum age: 18 years or older
Familiarity with oscilloscopes, multimeters and other digital and analog test equipment required to service audio/visual equipment; familiarity with CAD and digital audio is a plus
Associate Degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent technical/on the job experience
Ability to provide hand tools and steel toe shoes for daily use
Must possess strong safety sensitivity & ability to work with many different types of mechanical devices
Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the primary job duties, including climbing and working at heights up to an excess of 150 feet, crawling and working in confined spaces and lifting up to 100lbs
Must possess the physical dexterity to operate hand tools and motor vehicles
Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude
Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others
Other Funtions: All other duties assigned or necessary to support the park as a whole
