Job Opening: Supply Chain Manager - Manufacturing

Location: Birmingham, AL area

Salary Range: $100,000 – $130,000

We have an immediate Opening for a Supply Chain Manager with a stable and growing Alabama Manufacturer in the Birmingham area. This leadership role will oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory, demand planning, and logistics. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and uninterrupted production while driving continuous improvement and operational scalability.

The ideal candidate will lead sourcing and supplier management efforts, optimize inventory levels and forecasting processes, and improve logistics and transportation strategies. They will leverage ERP/MRP systems and data analytics to monitor performance, identify opportunities, and support executive decision-making.

Key Requirements:

5+ years of supply chain, logistics, or procurement experience (manufacturing preferred)

Strong analytical skills with experience in ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel

Proven ability to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and manage supplier relationships

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Success in this role is measured by improvements in inventory accuracy and turnover, on-time delivery, cost savings, supplier performance, and forecast accuracy.
