Emergency Physician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at a high acuity freestanding emergency center in Princeton, Texas. The ideal candidate delivers efficient, evidence based care, communicates clearly with patients and staff, and thrives in a fast paced, independent clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients of all ages presenting with emergent and urgent conditions

Perform essential emergency procedures, including airway management, resuscitation, wound care, fracture management, and cardiac stabilization

Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs, X rays, CT scans, and EKGs

Collaborate with nursing staff, radiology, and laboratory teams to ensure timely, coordinated patient care

Determine appropriate patient disposition, including discharge, transfer, or hospital admission

Document clinical findings, medical decision making, and treatment plans clearly and accurately

Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, facility policies, and quality standards

Provide patient education with clear, concise communication

Qualifications

MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine (with emergency experience)

Active Texas medical license (or ability to obtain)

Current ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications

Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
