Job Title: Manual Tester (UAT)

Location: Columbus, OH

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Analyst with strong experience in manual testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The candidate will be responsible for validating application functionality, ensuring business requirements are met, and supporting end users during UAT cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform manual testing of applications to ensure quality and functionality

Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support business users during test cycles

Understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios and test cases

Execute test cases and document results clearly

Identify, log, and track defects through resolution

Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders for issue resolution

Prepare test data required for various testing scenarios

Support regression and functional testing efforts

Provide test execution reports and status updates

Required Skills:

Strong experience in manual testing and UAT

Good understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC)

Experience in writing test cases, test scenarios, and defect reports

Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM)

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication skills for working with business users

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Exposure to banking, finance, or enterprise applications (optional)

Basic understanding of SQL (nice to have)
