Job Description

Our client is one of the most innovative commercial bakeries in the country, and we are growing. We run a state-of-the-art, temperature-controlled facility where quality, safety, and teamwork are not buzzwords — they are how we actually operate every shift, every day.

We are not just looking for someone who can fix equipment. We are looking for someone who takes pride in keeping a production floor running at its best, who communicates clearly when something needs attention, and who genuinely cares about the people working around them. If that sounds like you, keep reading.

Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts working on a 2-2-3 schedule

WHAT YOU WILL DO

In this role you are the backbone of the production floor. You ensure the equipment keeps running, the team stays safe, and problems get solved before they become bigger problems. Day to day, that looks like:

• Performing preventive maintenance on engines, motors, conveyor systems, pneumatic tools, and production machinery to keep everything running at peak performance.

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical malfunctions using diagrams, schematics, operations manuals, and manufacturer specifications.

• Maintaining and repairing electromechanical systems including controls, control wiring, and component-level diagnosis.

• Troubleshooting and replacing field devices such as photo eyes, proximity sensors, encoders, reed sensors, and ultrasonic devices.

• Applying your working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drives, motors, bearings, fasteners, and hardware to keep systems operating as designed.

• Supporting PLC diagnostics and contributing to equipment improvement projects as experience allows.

• Completing all required maintenance documentation accurately and on time.

• Championing safety on the floor, not because it is a requirement, but because you genuinely care about yourself and the people around you.

WHAT YOU BRING

• A high school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or certifications are a plus.

• At least two years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing, production, or similar automated environment.

• Solid mechanical comprehension across hydraulics, pneumatics, drives, and motors.

• Comfort with computer systems and basic documentation tools.

• PLC diagnostics experience is preferred. Robotic controls knowledge is a bonus.

• Strong troubleshooting instincts and the ability to think clearly under pressure.

• A collaborative spirit. You communicate well, ask questions when you need to, and share what you know with the people around you.

WHAT WE OFFER

• $5,000 in Bonus for coming on board!

• Industry-leading hourly wages of $32.00 to $40.00per hour, plus a quarterly attendance bonus.

• PTO that begins from your start date.

• Affordable medical, dental, and vision insurance. 401(k) retirement plan.

• A team that shows up for each other and a culture that recognizes the people who make it work.

Why Our Client?

We invest in people who invest in us. That means real opportunities to grow your technical skills, earn recognition for your impact, and build a career inside a company that is setting a new standard in the bakery industry. You will not be a number here. You will be a key part of how this floor runs.
