Job Title: Senior Application Developer (.NET / NIEM)

Location: Harrisburg, PA

Duration: Long-Term Contract

Schedule: Standard hours + occasional after-hours supportRole Overview

"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking experienced Senior Application Developers to support mission-critical enterprise systems. This role focuses on development, integration, system stability, and modernization using Microsoft technologies and NIEM standards.Key Responsibilities

Develop, support, and enhance enterprise applications

Troubleshoot complex, multi-system issues and ensure system stability

Drive performance, capacity planning, and continuous improvements

Support enterprise integrations and system migrations

Maintain technical documentation, standards, and KPIs

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholdersRequired Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree required

6+ years in full SDLC on Microsoft stack

5+ years: .NET Framework, ASP.NET, C#, WCF, MS SQL Server, Visual Studio, OOP

2+ years: .NET Core, Web API

Strong experience with XML/XSD, XSLT, XPath

3+ years: NIEM (IEPD lifecycle), ESB migration (SOAP/REST), XML namespace/versioning

Experience with technical documentation and production support

Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving skillsNice to Have

Experience with Azure
