Software Engineer

Agility Partners is seeking qualified applicants to fill an open Level Sr. Software Engineer position for a Healthcare company that drives better health outcomes by uniting technology and clinical relationships through a connected healthcare network.

-Develop and maintain full-stack features for an innovative web and mobile platform that enables customers to virtually engage with their pharmacists

-Build and enhance web and mobile applications with a focus on new feature enhancements and production support

Collaborate closely with product teams to deliver solutions that create meaningful business value

-Participate in paired programming and test-driven development practices

-Write unit tests and contribute to quality assurance processes

-Work with REST APIs and microservices architecture

-Contribute to system documentation and code reviews

-Participate in Agile practices and ceremonies

-Support production environments and troubleshooting

The Perfect Candidate

The ideal candidate would bring the following:

-Must be local to Columbus and willing to work onsite 3 days per week (M/T/Th)

-5+ years of experience working as a full stack software engineer

-Strong proficiency in Java for backend development

-Experience with modern frontend frameworks: Angular, React, or Vue

-Database experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or NoSQL

-Understanding of REST API development and integration

-Experience with unit testing and quality assurance practices

-Familiarity with paired programming methodologies

-Knowledge of Agile practices/tools, including TDD

-Highly motivated, self-learner, and technically inquisitive

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Must be U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder (No H1B or C2C candidates)

-AWS Cloud platform experience
