Design Intern

Job Description: MOI seeks designers who are passionate about workspace solutions and office design. Candidates will work directly with designers to assist in all aspects and phases of design. Candidates must be proficient in AutoCAD. Candidates must be eager to learn with a positive attitude and ability to be in the regional office.

Responsibilities:

Support designers in product research and presentations

Assist with presentation/ finish boards and booklets

Create site documentation, and attend field visits

Input field measurements into CAD plans

Assist in product count and double checks

Schedule and attend meetings with clients, vendors & sales representatives (occasionally)

Create 3D, colored renderings using CET

Assist designers in space planning and furniture specs and finishes

Request quote and finish samples, along with COM testing

Responsible for daily administrative tasks, general office procedures, and finish library maintenance

Relevant Skills:

AutoCAD

CET

Adobe Suite

Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
