CNC Machine Operator

Job Description

Our growth requires us to find qualified candidates to fill our CNC Machine Operator positions. We are searching for someone who has previous CNC Operator experience, had the knowledge of using measuring tools, such as calipers and micrometers, and possesses the ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot simple problems associated with machine tools.

We offer an attendance bonus up to $2 / hr as well as a competitive salary commensurate with experience and a comprehensive benefits package.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Review routing and set up specifications to determine setup procedure, machining sequence and dimensions. Ability to interpret blueprints and other specifications to determine product requirements is paramount

Assemble cutting tools in tool holders and position in machine spindles as specified using hand tools or insert cutting tools

Selects fixtures, part holding and tooling to machine parts as necessary

Adjust machine speeds and feeds and change the tooling to machine parts according to specifications

Confirm conformance of finished work to specifications using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, gauges and Go/No Go tools

Identifies workmanship and material defects and deficiencies and initiates program changes when required

Perform other related duties as assigned
