Data Entry Clerk / Data Entry Specialist
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will accurately input, update, and maintain information in our systems while ensuring high data quality. This role requires precision, efficiency, and the ability to handle repetitive tasks without compromising accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter, update, and maintain data in company databases or systems
Verify accuracy and completeness of data before input
Review and correct errors in existing data
Retrieve and organize information for reports or audits
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Assist in generating reports, spreadsheets, and other documentation
Support other administrative tasks as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in data entry or related administrative role
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong typing skills (e.g., 50–70 words per minute)
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and Google Workspace
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Basic understanding of database systems or CRM software
Preferred Qualifications (Optional):
Experience with data analysis or reporting
Knowledge of industry-specific software
Ability to handle large volumes of data efficiently
Working Conditions:
Typically office-based or remote
May require sitting for extended periods and using a computer for long hours
