This role is responsible for leading the manufacturing engineering function, improving production processes, and managing a team of engineers and technicians within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This is a full-time Manufacturing Manager opportunity offering a competitive salary of $120,000 - $135,000 per year plus bonus, along with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off and training and development.
Key Responsibilities include:Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and systemsManage and mentor a team of engineers and technicians within the engineering departmentIdentify and mitigate technical and operational risks impacting safety, quality, delivery, and costTroubleshoot and resolve manufacturing process, tooling, equipment, and quality issuesOversee Tool Room operations to support production and engineering requirementsLead APQP activities including FMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP documentationAnalyze scrap, downtime, and process failures and implement corrective actionsEnsure compliance with quality systems, regulatory standards, and customer requirementsDevelop work instructions, manufacturing documentation, and operational reportsSupport capital equipment and manufacturing improvement projectsCollaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to improve manufacturing performancePromote a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence Qualifications & Experience Required:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field10+ years of experience in manufacturing engineeringStrong background in metal fabrication, welding, machining, or forming processesProven leadership experience managing engineering teams in manufacturing environmentsExperience with continuous improvement and root cause analysisAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specificationsStrong communication and leadership skills Preferred Experience:Experience working in high-volume or mixed model manufacturing environmentsKnowledge of industry standards such as AWS, ASME, or ISOExperience with CAD/CAM softwareFamiliarity with robotic or CNC programmingProject management certification (PMP) or equivalent experience
