Setting: General Medical & Surgical Units (Central Registry - Float Pool)
Start Date: May 4, 2026
End Date: August 3, 2026
Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
Weekend Requirement: 3 weekend shifts every 4 weeks
Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 – $2,130
Dress Code: Caribbean Blue scrubs
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or compact state (travel nurse licensure)
BLS certification (AHA required)
Minimum 1.5 years of experience in a Level 1, Level 2, or tertiary care facility
At least 1 year of Med/Surg experience at a large hospital (600+ beds)
Proficiency with Epic EHR (electronic health record experience preferred)
Comfortable floating to other medical units and working within a central registry/float pool
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive Med/Surg nursing care for adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses
Perform assessments, develop care plans, and complete documentation using Epic EHR
Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and operate clinical equipment (IV pumps, wound vacs, feeding pumps, telemetry monitors)
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, PT/OT, case managers) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to areas of greatest need across medical units as part of the central registry/float pool
Participate in orientation, including facility onboarding and Epic training for travel nurses
