Job Description

EHS Specialist (Safety Specialization)

If you’re an EHS professional who doesn’t just maintain programs—but builds, owns, and improves them—this is the kind of role you’ve been waiting for.

We’re partnered with a growing operation that needs someone who can step in, take control of safety and environmental efforts, and elevate standards across the board. This isn’t a checkbox compliance job—this is visibility, ownership, and influence.

What You’ll Own:

Drive EHS programs from the ground level through execution and continuous improvement

Lead job hazard analyses and proactively eliminate risk before it becomes an issue

Be the go-to for safety training—engaging, practical, and effective

Take full ownership of SDS management and chemical safety protocols

Oversee chemical waste handling and ensure zero gaps in compliance

Support hazardous materials shipping standards (DOT/IATA/IMDG) without hand-holding

Act as a key voice in building a strong, accountable safety culture

What Gets You in the Door:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

3+ years running EHS programs in manufacturing or industrial environments

Chemical environment experience is a strong advantage

Proven experience with hazardous waste management

Exposure to dangerous goods shipping regulations is a plus

ASP, CSP, or CHMM certifications help you stand out

Strong communicator who can influence at all levels—not just enforce rules

Why This Role:

High visibility with leadership

Opportunity to make measurable impact quickly

Stable environment with growth potential

If you’re ready to step into a role where your expertise actually drives change—not just maintains the status quo—let’s talk.
