Security Architect

Security Architect (Greenfield Banking Project) – Remote Contract We're building a next-generation digital banking platform from the ground up—and looking for a Security Architect to lead the charge in designing a world-class, secure-by-design ecosystem.

This is a greenfield opportunity where you'll shape the entire security architecture, strategy, and team from day one.

Role Details: Setup: Remote Initial Contract: 6 months (high likelihood of extension) Working Hours: Sunday–Thursday, 9AM–6PM (GMT+2) What You'll Be Doing: Lead and build a high-performing team of security & solution architects, driving a strong security-first culture Translate complex technical risks into clear, actionable design reports for stakeholders Conduct proactive threat modeling (e.g., STRIDE) across core banking systems, APIs, and infrastructure Design and implement a Zero Trust security architecture for high-volume financial systems Ensure compliance with central bank regulations and licensing requirements, acting as the technical authority What We're Looking For: Proven experience as a Security Architect within banking, fintech, or highly regulated environments Strong background in enterprise security architecture, threat modeling, and Zero Trust frameworks Experience working on greenfield or large-scale transformation programs Ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders If you're someone who wants to build from scratch, lead, and make a real impact, this is the role for you.
