Pharmacist in Dothan, AL

A night shift Pharmacist opportunity is available in a 300-bed hospital in Southeast Alabama. This contract role begins ASAP and extends for 13 weeks with the potential to transition to a permanent position. The schedule follows a 7-on, 7-off pattern, working nights from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Schedule:

7 days on, 7 days off

Night shift: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Responsibilities:

Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety

Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient operations

Consult with physicians and nurses regarding medication therapy and patient care

Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

Valid Alabama Pharmacist license required

Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred

Ability to work night shifts consistently

Strong communication and organizational skills
