Schedule:
4:00 PM - 12:30 AM, Monday through Friday
Every other weekend required
Key Qualifications:
Valid Ohio pharmacist license (required at start)
Proven experience managing controlled drugs, including narcotics
Strong knowledge in evaluating medication orders for drug appropriateness, dosage accuracy, and potential interactions
Experience with the Frameworks system or similar pharmacy management software preferred
Core Responsibilities:
Review medication orders, ensuring safety and compliance with therapeutic protocols
Collaborate directly with physicians and nursing staff to recommend therapy modifications when necessary
Maintain detailed patient medication histories, clinical data, and laboratory records
Address and resolve medication-related inquiries from healthcare team members
Ensure legal compliance and stock control by maintaining accurate controlled drug registers
Oversee medication preparation and secure storage of all pharmaceutical products
Participate in "on-call" rotations as assigned, supporting urgent clinical needs
