FullStack Java Developer

Bethesda, MD / Hybrid

Pay from $90,000/yr

MUST :

Eligible for standard Public Trust clearance

10+ years of progressive full stack development experience

Mastery of HTML5, CSS3, and Modern JavaScript (ES6+)

Proven track record of building/migrating enterprise applications from the ground up

Expertise in java migration stacks : JAVA 21, Spring MVC, TypeScript, Node.JS languages and React, Hibernate and Node Frameworks

Strong knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility

Understanding of security best practices for web applications

Advanced Relational Database skills (SQL, schema design, query optimization) with PostgreSQL or MySQL

Proficiency in GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, or similar

Experience documenting technical requirements

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

High attention to details

Strong problem-solving skills and highly analytical

BS Degree in related field

DUTIES :

The ideal candidate will help to replace legacy JSP and Taglib-based views with a modern, responsive React, TypeScript, and Node.js stack

Build and maintain end-to-end features, ensuring seamless integration between modern React components and Spring-based RESTful APIs

Help with leading the technical transition of legacy Spring MVC/Hibernate applications (JDK 7) to modern Java 21 standards

Manage and optimize relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), ensuring data integrity and performance during the transition from legacy Hibernate mappings to modern ORM practices
