Software Developer

We are looking for a hands-on Software Developer to help build practical internal tools and applications that improve visibility, accountability, and decision-making across our business. This role will work directly with the CEO to design and develop apps, dashboards, and reporting tools focused on operational KPIs, including fuel usage, fleet performance, productivity, and other key business metrics. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys building useful software that solves real business problems, not just writing code. The wage for this role is $70,000-$100,000 depending on your skills and experience What You’ll Do

Design, build, and maintain internal business applications Develop dashboards and tools to track KPIs such as fuel usage, fleet efficiency, productivity, downtime, and cost trends Turn business needs into practical software solutions Build reporting tools that give leadership real-time operational visibility Integrate data from various business systems, spreadsheets, APIs, and telematics platforms Improve data accuracy, automation, and workflow efficiency Collaborate directly with leadership and end users to identify problems and deploy solutions quickly Support, troubleshoot, and continuously improve the applications you build Help shape our long-term internal software and data strategy What We’re Looking For

5-10 years experience as a Software Developer, Application Developer, or similar role Strong ability to build business applications from concept to deployment Experience with dashboards, reporting tools, and KPI-driven applications Strong understanding of databases, data structures, and system integrations Experience working with APIs and third-party systems Ability to translate operational/business requirements into usable tools Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with direct exposure to leadership Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, ownership-minded attitude Nice to Have

Experience with fleet, logistics, fuel, telematics, or operations-related systems Experience building internal management dashboards Experience with cloud platforms and mobile-friendly app development Background in industrial, transportation, recycling, fuel, or field-service businesses Why Join Us
