Extrusion Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Extrusion Machine Operator to operate and manage extrusion machines used for polymer extrusion. The role involves setting up machines, adjusting components, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The operator will assist with packaging and work towards becoming cross-functional in other areas.

Responsibilities

Operate extrusion machines to extrude polymers.

Set up machines by changing screws and adjusting rollers.

Use computer controls to adjust temperature and speed of machines.

Load and unload spools of material from the machines.

Assist with packaging of cartridges while machines are operational.

Lift up to 20 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs periodically.

Ensure a clean and safe work environment.

Essential Skills

Experience with extrusion machines and machine operation.

Ability to operate single screw extrusion machines independently.

Minimum of 1 year experience in a machine operation role.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in production and machine operating.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eden Prairie, MN.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
