Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
The Machine Operator will set up, operate, and maintain routing and thermoforming equipment to produce high-quality parts in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures machines run safely and efficiently, parts meet quality specifications, and finished products are properly assembled, packaged, and prepared for shipment while supporting continuous improvement in production processes.
Responsibilities
Operate routers and related machinery safely and efficiently to produce high-quality parts.
Set up machines for routing processes, including tooling setup, adjustments, and basic parameter settings.
Monitor machine operations to ensure parts meet established quality standards and specifications.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of thermoform equipment to keep machines in good working condition.
Troubleshoot basic machine issues and report more complex problems to the appropriate personnel.
Conduct final assembly of parts and products as needed to meet production requirements.
Package and label finished goods accurately for shipment according to production and shipping guidelines.
Assist with general production and general labor tasks to support overall manufacturing operations.
Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.Essential Skills
At least 6+ months of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with machine operation in a production setting.
Ability to set up and operate machinery safely and accurately.
Basic troubleshooting skills for machine and production issues.
Ability to perform general labor and general production tasks.
Attention to detail to ensure parts and products meet quality standards.
Ability to work effectively as part of a production team.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Machine operating experience specifically with routers or CNC equipment is a plus.
Familiarity with assembly work in a manufacturing environment.
Comfort working with thermoform equipment or similar production machinery.

Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing environment that involves working around production machinery, including routers and thermoforming equipment. The position requires being on the production floor, performing hands-on machine operation, assembly, and general production tasks. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Belgrade, MT.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
