Job Description

Join the Coral Casino Beach & Cabana Club as a Pool Server, earning $17.00/hr plus eligibility for the Coral Casino Tip Pool.

The Club, located at Butterfly Beach in Santa Barbara, is one of the most elite social clubs in the world. Key Responsibilities:

Provide sincere hospitality, prioritizing member satisfaction with a problem-solving attitude.

Maintain attentiveness, friendliness, and professionalism with guests and team members.

Lead by example to improve operations and inspire team members.

Greet and engage members and guests courteously, personalizing service based on preferences.

Expert knowledge of menu items, assist with food and drink orders, including special dietary needs.

Manage inventory, stock rotation, and maintain clean, orderly service stations and dining areas.

Coordinate with kitchen and management, communicate member feedback, and support safe work environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Professionalism, attention to detail, strong communication, and organizational skills.

Basic POS system knowledge and math skills.

Proactive problem-solving and ability to manage guest complaints effectively.

Honest, dependable, able to work in fast-paced environments with flexible availability (nights, weekends, holidays).

Experience & Education:

Minimum 2 years as a lead server or server in high-end restaurants or private clubs.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Required Food Handlers/Serve Safe and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certifications.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year in the service industry.

High School Diploma or equivalent education preferred.

Basic knowledge of food and beverage operations.

Frequently stands/walks for prolonged periods of time, for at least eight hours.

Ability to climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, crouch, bend, stretch, twist, and reach, push, pull, carry, and lift at least 40 pounds; ability to move furniture.

Ability to withstand continuous repetitive motions.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

High level of professionalism and attention to detail.

Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills with solid follow through.

Problem solving, reasoning, and “thinking out of the box”; ability to apply common sense understanding to better serve our internal and external guests’ needs.

Ability to handle guest complaints and disputes and resolve them to satisfactory results.

Ability to read, comprehend, and abide by the rules of the Employee Handbook.

Possesses basic math skills.

Honest, dependable, and aligned with the Club’s service standards.

Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
