The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor manufacturing presses according to production schedules and quality standards.

Perform setup, adjustment, and minor maintenance of presses to ensure optimal performance.

Conduct in-process quality checks and make necessary adjustments to maintain product specifications.

Troubleshoot and resolve basic operational issues and escalate complex problems to supervision.

Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production specifications.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

3+ years experience as a Press Operator in a manufacturing environment.

Proven ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot various types of presses (e.g., stamping, hydraulic, mechanical).

Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T, and precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers).

Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and quality control standards.

Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform minor maintenance and adjustments on machinery.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with preventative maintenance on presses

Forklift certification

Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings

Basic computer skills for data entry and machine interface
