JOB TITLE: Data Center Technician I

DURATION: 3 Months Contract (highly possible extension)

LOCATION: New Albany, OH (onsite)

Shift Details:

4 days/week, 10-hour shifts

Shift timing: 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Two schedules available:

Sun–Wed

Wed–Sat

Must be available to work on holidays

Description:

Team is seeking an Infrastructure Delivery Install Technician to support data center deployments across Ohio (Hilliard, New Albany, Dublin).

Responsibilities

•Install and maintain servers, network equipment, racks, and structured cabling (fiber & copper)

•Test, troubleshoot, and document cabling and infrastructure issues

•Manage inventory, materials, and vendor coordination

•Track work through ticketing systems, reports, email, and Slack

•Ensure installations meet AWS data center standards

•Perform equipment moves, site walks, and capacity expansion tasks

•Support a 24/7 data center environment with occasional after-hours work

Requirements

•Hands-on understanding of servers, switches, and networking hardware

•Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills

•Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work on feet for 8-hour shifts

•Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and in active data centers

Notes:

•Primarily onsite, hands-on data center / infrastructure role

•Minimal travel between nearby sites
