Job Title: Project Engineer – Civil Site DevelopmentAbout the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join a growing Civil Site Development team and play a key role in the design and delivery of diverse land development projects. Working closely with a Project Manager and a multidisciplinary team, you’ll support projects ranging from mixed use and multi family developments to commercial, government, and healthcare facilities.

Assist with the management and delivery of complex civil and site development projects, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget goals are met.

Support the Project Manager and coordinate with internal team members throughout all phases of project execution.

Design site layouts for commercial, residential, mixed use, and land development projects.

Perform grading and drainage design for site and land development.

Develop utility layouts and coordinate site utility design.

Prepare and support permitting efforts for commercial and residential developments.

Contribute to roadway design and related site civil engineering tasks as needed.

Communicate effectively with internal staff and clients to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and provide project updates.

Assist with project proposals, including technical input and scope development.

Participate in client presentations and project interviews when required.

Demonstrate leadership on assigned tasks, mentor junior staff as appropriate, and support a collaborative team environment.Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor of Science (BS) in Civil Engineering.

Engineer in Training (EIT) certification required.

Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Approximately 5+ years of land development project management experience preferred.

Hands on experience designing site layouts, grading, drainage, utilities, and permitting for civil/site development projects.

Proficiency in civil engineering design for land and site development.

Experience using Civil 3D for site and land development design.

Strong project management skills applied to civil engineering projects.

Effective leadership and task coordination abilities.

Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with internal teams and clients.Additional Qualifications (Preferred)

Experience with roadway design and related site civil tasks.

Experience in both private and public sector projects, including mixed use, multi family, subdivision, commercial, government, and healthcare developments.

Professional Engineer (PE) license or active pursuit of licensure.

Comfort participating in project proposals and client presentations.

Interest in career growth into project management and client development roles.

Commitment to ongoing professional development, including professional organizations and continuing education.Work Environment & Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
