Come join us at Mother Angeline McCrory Manor! A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we've provided spiritually motived care for the elderly of Columbus for over 65 years. Caring for someone isn’t just a job, it’s a compassionate calling based on deep-rooted spiritual beliefs.

We are looking to hire a Cook - Full-Time.

Hours vary from 5am to 1:30pm or 12pm to 8pm plus Every Other Weekend rotation.

Dietary Aide / Cook Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Food service experience required.

Must be able to understand, read & write English.

Must pass background check (after Job Offer).

Looking for a Cook who:

Is mission driven with a passion for working with elders.

Loves to go out and engage with the residents.

Believes that food is brought to life by the person preparing it.

Cook Job Summary:

Ensure that established Infection Control practices are maintained.

Prepare food, as needed, in a nutritional, appetizing fashion and present in a caring manner.

Operate equipment: toaster, steam line, plate warmer, dishwasher, coffee maker.

Record refrigerator/freezer & dishwasher temperatures.

Label & date foods for proper storing.
