The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate various manufacturing presses (e.g., hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic).

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of press machinery and work area.

Interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to determine job specifications.

Load and unload materials and finished products from presses.

Inspect parts for quality defects, ensuring adherence to specifications and tolerances.

Troubleshoot and resolve minor operational issues with press equipment.

Adjust machine settings and tooling for optimal performance and product quality.

Recommended Qualifications

2+ years experience operating and setting up manufacturing presses (e.g., stamping, hydraulic, pneumatic).

Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.

Demonstrated ability to perform quality checks using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).

Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and minor maintenance of press equipment.

Experience with material handling and loading/unloading dies and raw materials safely.

Adherence to all safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of printing equipment.

Forklift certification or experience operating a forklift.

Demonstrated ability to train and mentor junior operators.

Familiarity with quality control procedures and tools (e.g., densitometers, colorimeters).

Basic computer skills for data entry and machine interface.
