ENTRY LEVEL UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLY (UPS) ASSISTANT

Power Resources is seeking an entry level UPS Field Service. The ideal applicant will be a self-starter, solid work ethic, punctual and will have experience in electricity/electronics or an educational background in electrical/electronic systems. On-the-job training is offered, and a potential candidate should be eager to learn and have understanding and/or experience with electronics and battery systems. There is room for advancement for someone that takes to the role. This is an exciting industry and if youenjoy travel and working at different locations then we may have the right position for you!

Job Duties:

Always maintain a safe working environment and report possible concerns to the lead person or supervisor.

Work with Senior UPS technicians in the field and follow their instructions.

Travel all over New England and occasionally an overnight job.

Be able to lift up to 75lbs.

Work with other team members to complete custom and large installation projects.

Attend product specific training as necessary.

Establish, promote, and maintain excellent rapport with all customers, co-workers, salesrepresentatives, and others as appropriate.

Install, maintain and test battery systems.

Maintain and safeguard company-issued tools and equipment.

Assist the Senior technicians troubleshoot critical power systems down to the root cause andperform repairs with minimum customer downtime or site operation disruption.

Protect company proprietary information, manuals, and records.

Timely and accurate completion of paperwork including Field Service Reports, time cards, andexpense reports.

Learn to operate a forklift.

Ability to start early or work late. Occasional over time.Company Description
