Pay: $23.70/hr + $0.75/hr shift premium

Schedule: Monday–Friday 2:00pm – 10:30pm

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing facility in St. Charles, IL on 2nd shift. In this role you will operate extruder, mill, and mixing equipment as part of a production team focused on quality and efficiency. This is a contract to hire opportunity — a great way to get your foot in the door at a stable, growing company with long-term career potential.

Important: This is a hands-on production environment that can be dusty and dirty. Candidates must be comfortable working in this type of setting and wearing PPE for up to 9 hours per day.

What You'll Be Doing

Operate extruder, mill, and mixing equipment throughout your shift

Perform heating and bonding processes as assigned

Monitor production runs for quality and machine performance

Follow all safety guidelines and PPE requirements at all times (face mask, eye protection, ear plugs)

Perform general cleaning and housekeeping in production areas

Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

Use basic computer systems for production tracking

What We're Looking For

1+ years of experience operating manufacturing equipment

Comfortable working in a dirty and dusty production environment

Basic math and computer skills

Strong English communication skills (read, write, speak)

Reliable attendance and team-player mentality

Safety-conscious with ability to follow PPE and safety protocols

Nice to Have

Experience with extruders, mills, or mixing equipment specifically

Experience with heating or bonding processes

Coatings, plastics, or chemical manufacturing background

Prior 2nd shift experience

SAP experience

Requirements

Must be able to pass a 4-panel drug screen and 7-year background check

SD rated steel toe footwear required on day one

Must be comfortable on 2nd shift (2:00pm – 10:30pm, Monday–Friday)
