NSC Skilled Trades has an immediate need for an experienced Brake Press Operator in Columbus Ohio

Job Details:

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Pay: $20-30/hour

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: 40+ hours

Shift: 7am-4:00pm

Length: Temp to hire

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

5 years of experience (required)

Set up and operate press brake machines for bending and forming metal parts in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) to ensure accurate fabrication.

Adjust tooling, calibrate machines, and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal operation.

Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and other quality inspection tools to verify dimensions meet specifications.

Troubleshoot machine issues, perform basic repairs or adjustments, and document production data accurately.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols including crane operation and proper handling of sheet metal materials.

Collaborate with team members on fabrication projects involving welding, assembly, or additional machining processes.
