Job Description

Northeast Building Products is a wholesale distributor of masonry supplies serving contractors and builders throughout the region.

We are currently seeking a dependable and experienced CDL A Flatbed Driver to operate a day cab tractor trailer. The ideal candidate will ensure safe, timely, and accurate deliveries of masonry materials, while also maintaining high standards of customer service and vehicle safety.

Responsibilities:

· Safely operate a Class A flatbed tractor trailer for local and regional deliveries

· Check and confirm accuracy of materials during deliveries, transfers and returns against shipping paperwork

· Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance; report any mechanical issues or needed repairs

· Comply with all DOT, state, federal, and company safety and security regulations

· Assist yard personnel with loading and unloading materials

· Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner

· Follow company procedures and ensure materials are secured and transported safely

Qualifications:

· Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience driving with a CDL A

· Ability to lift and move heavy materials

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· Knowledge of safe loading/unloading and securing flatbed loads

We offer a competitive compensation package with overtime available, paid holidays, and paid vacation time. Pay is based on experience - $25-$35/hour.Company Description
