Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Custom Classics Mechanic specializing in bodywork and paint to restore, repair, and enhance classic and vintage vehicles. This role requires attention to detail, craftsmanship, and a passion for automotive restoration.

Key Responsibilities

Perform body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, sanding, and surface preparation

Prep vehicles for paint, including masking, priming, and blocking

Mix and apply paint, clear coats, and finishes to achieve high-quality results

Restore and refinish classic and vintage vehicles to customer or project specifications

Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met

Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized workspace

Collaborate with team members on restoration projects and timelines

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in auto body repair and painting (classic car experience preferred)

Knowledge of bodywork techniques, paint systems, and finishing processes

Ability to use body shop tools and equipment safely and effectively

Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, bend, and work in a shop environment for extended periods

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
