Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Paving Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating paving machines and other heavy equipment used in asphalt and site preparation work. This position is a great fit for someone who values quality workmanship, attention to detail, and efficiency in the field.

Responsibilities:

Operate asphalt paving machines and related equipment in residential, commercial, and roadway projects.

Assist in setup, maintenance, and adjustment of paving equipment for optimal performance.

Operate additional machinery such as backhoe, grader, roller, and jackhammer as needed.

Perform basic equipment inspections and routine maintenance checks.

Work collaboratively with crew members to ensure smooth and timely completion of projects.

Adhere to safety protocols and company standards at all times.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience as a paving operator or in a related heavy equipment role.

Proficiency in operating asphalt pavers and related machinery (backhoe, grader, roller, jackhammer).

Strong understanding of paving techniques, grades, slopes, and asphalt mat quality.

Ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment.

Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.

Class A or B CDL preferred, but not required.
