Job description*:

We are looking for a seasoned Packaging Lead with over 7 years of experience in software packaging and deployment.

Candidates must have hands-on expertise in industry-standard packaging tools, scripting languages, and deployment platforms.

This role requires strong technical and troubleshooting knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with global stakeholders across different time zones.

• Lead and manage end-to-end software packaging process starting from Technical Review to UAT Sign-Off, understanding and adhering to Packaging Standards, timelines and Process.

• Expert knowledge of Windows Installer Services & Windows Operating Systems and other components of Operating System.

• Create, test, and deploy software packages using Admin Studio (InstallShield & Re-packager) for various environments like Laptops/Desktops, Citrix Servers and Azure VDI environments.

• Knowledge of App-V 5.1 is much appreciated which helps to manage current app-v applications in the environment.

• Knowledge of Application Compatibility Toolkit, including Shim creation and installation is essential for compatibility fixes for application migration.

• Perform Technical review and set the timeline for delivery that includes Package Creation, Quality Analysis, SCCM Staging, Integration Testing and UAT Sign-Off.

• Create Installation scripts and achieve requested configurations using PowerShell or Batch Scripting. VBScript will also be helpful to manage the older packages in the environment.

• Deployment knowledge on SCCM like Application Creation, Collection Creations, deployments, troubleshoot installation issues and Support UAT is essential.

• Knowledge of Request and Incident management using ServiceNow (S-Now) for daily operations.
