Location: Howell, MI 48843

Schedule: Monday-Friday 10am-6:30pm

Pay Rate: $35.00 per hour

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring optimal production performance through the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery and mechanical systems. This role supports production goals while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards. The position operates with a strong focus on reliability, preventative maintenance, and hands-on problem solving in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and ensure the functionality of all mechanical systems, following internal procedures and external requirements.

Perform and document preventive maintenance, repairs, and service work on machines, facilities, tools, and equipment.

Troubleshoot and correct issues within hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Manufacture or modify machine components and plant devices as required.

Coordinate and procure spare parts according to specifications and instructions.

Participate in on-call service duties based on operational planning.

Support and collaborate on maintenance and improvement projects.

Actively support and participate in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) initiatives.

Communicate maintenance status, issues, and recommendations clearly to supervision.

Skills & Qualifications

Completed technical apprenticeship, trade certification, or comparable hands-on technical training.

Proven skilled trades experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic controls and systems.

Comfortable working standby and on-call rotations as required.

Proficient in Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting.

Ability to work independently with a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset.

Good communication skills in the local language.
