MACHINE OPERATOR DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
Location: Columbus NE 68601 – 100% on-site
Payrate: $22.70/hr
Required Availability: Full-Time D Shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
Schedule: Alternating days; must be flexible to work weekend overtime as needed.
MACHINE OPERATOR SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Machine Operator will be responsible for the safe operation of production equipment, performing routine quality checks, and conducting basic troubleshooting to ensure products meet strict manufacturing standards. This role focuses on maintaining continuous production flow through efficient changeovers, accurate SAP data entry, and collaborative teamwork during a 12-hour night shift.
This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

MACHINE OPERATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Equipment Operation: Safely operate production machinery and ensure continuous operation through breaks to meet production goals.
Quality Control: Perform visual inspections and quality checks using precision instruments (calipers, gauges, or microscopes) to ensure compliance with GMP and FDA standards.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Perform basic equipment troubleshooting, changeovers, and line clearances.
Data Entry: Accurately complete SAP and MES data entries and maintain production logs.
Team Collaboration: Work within a team to move raw materials, clean/sanitize work areas, and participate in continuous improvement "blitz" teams.
MACHINE OPERATOR REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
Previous manufacturing experience is preferred, specifically with precision measuring tools or MES/SAP systems.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend English specifications and perform basic math calculations.
