Job Description
Alan C Sell, CPA is looking for an experienced manager to provide accounting and payroll services to clients throughout the Kalamazoo, Portage, and southwest Michigan region. This position will play a critical role in servicing clients. Core responsibilities include:
- Building strong relationships with clients to effectively serve them
- Monthly accounting services which may include reconciling bank statements and credit card statements
- Quarterly and annual accounting review of client internal bookkeeping
- Prepare payroll and sales tax returns
- Responding to client needs and questions that arise throughout the year
- Assist with preparation of corporate tax returns
The ideal candidate should have:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 3-5 years of general accounting experience
- Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Enthusiasm for helping clients
