Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PCU Float Pool position in Ohio, requiring EPIC proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of experience, working nights on a 13-week contract.
Details
Position is part of a PCU Float Pool, with potential to float to any stepdown or PCU area within the medical center
May be required to float to other campuses, including Ross Heart, Brain & Spine, and Dodd
Floating may occur within units of equivalent or lower acuity
Estimated patient ratio of 1:3–4
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
Epic EMR experience is required
Telemetry monitoring is required in this role
IV insertion skills are required
Requirements
Active RN license in Ohio or a Compact RN license currently in hand
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Proficiency with Epic EMR required
IV insertion skills required
Telemetry experience required
Additional Information
Provide progressive care nursing across multiple stepdown and PCU areas as part of a float pool model
All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
No mandatory break between assignments is required when changing representation at this facility (except for Sterile Processing Techs, who require a 30-day break)
