We are seeking a Software Developer / Reverse Engineer to design and build advanced security-focused tools in a fast-paced, agile engineering environment. In this role, you will develop capabilities that analyze network traffic, web applications, and complex data flows to support high-impact operational needs.
You will work closely with analysts, data scientists, and engineers to rapidly prototype, refine, and deploy solutions. This position offers a high degree of autonomy, where you will be encouraged to pursue technical opportunities, innovate, and quickly deliver capabilities that can be used in real-world applications within short development cycles.Responsibilities
Develop Python-based applications to automate analysis and operational workflows
Reverse engineer network traffic and web-based applications
Gather requirements from stakeholders and ensure solutions meet operational needs
Collaborate with software engineering teams to integrate new technologies and shared components
Manage data flows and formatting to integrate with existing systems
Contribute to rapid development and deployment of new capabilitiesSkills Requirements
Familiarity with web technologies and protocols (HTTP, HTML, JavaScript)
Experience using tools such as Burp Suite, browser developer tools, or Wireshark to analyze network communications
Production-grade software development experience in Python
Experience with containerization and deployment using Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and GitLab
Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and ConfluenceNice to Haves
Experience prototyping web applications using JavaScript
Experience analyzing cybersecurity-related datasets (e.g., network traffic, OS events)
Knowledge of large-scale signal collection and analysis systems
Experience developing or reverse engineering mobile applications and communications
Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
Experience building or supporting production-grade security toolingCompensation Employment Policy
Salary is determined by multiple factors, including location, education, experience, skills, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $200,000 - $250,000 (annualized USD).Benefits Overview
