Schedule: Full-time

Transportation Engineer 1 (TE1), Office of Equipment Management, PN 20050712

The selected candidate will be placed in the classification in which they meet minimum qualifications.

What You Will Do:

You will be involved in the design, manufacturing, testing and implementation of ODOT’s snow and ice removal equipment.

You will create technical specifications and drawings for all components of ODOT’s snow plow trucks i.e. chassis, hydraulic systems, plows, bodies.

You will work with ODOT’s counties and districts evaluating and training on load and weight distribution of their equipment.

You will work alongside of ODOT professional engineers.

You will receive hands-on transportation training & experience needed to further your career as an engineer with ODOT.
