Exp. PROGRAMMER (HAAS Mill) min. yrs exp

Now hiring an experienced HAAS Mill operator. Ideal candidate has a minimum of 10 years' experience and can program, operate, and maintain HAAS CNC machines while ensuring precision, quality, and efficiency in production. Position requires technical programming skills, hands-on machining experience, and attention to detail.

1st Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:00PM

Pay based on experience--starting at $27/hr

Key Responsibilities:

Create and edit CNC programs (G-code and CAM software) for HAAS mills and lathes, including conversational and offline programming

Generate efficient toolpaths, select appropriate tools, and optimize speeds/feeds for optimal machining

Prove out new CNC programs and troubleshoot issues

Load and machine parts to completion, following engineering specifications and blueprints

Operate HAAS mills, lathes, and other CNC machines, including manual lathes for odd-shaped or hard-to-machine parts

Change tooling, collets, bar loaders, and other materials as needed

Inspect parts for accuracy, uniformity, and compliance with QC standards

Keep equipment operational through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting

Follow safety standards, use PPE, and maintain a clean, organized work environment

All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum 10 years CNC Programmer (HAAS) Experience

Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., MasterCAM, SolidWorks CAM)

Strong understanding of CNC machine operations, feeds/speeds, and tool selection

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

Solid math skills and mechanical aptitude
