Clark Builders specializes in residential remodeling in the Columbus area. We are looking for a qualified Lead Carpenter / Project Lead to join our team.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

Planning and Execution:

Supervise, coordinate, and oversee the daily work activities of a crew of 1 to 2 employees.

Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications to delegate/complete work activities.

Perform carpentry and/or other construction skills such as demolition, framing, basic HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall, finishing, painting, flooring, windows and door installation, handyman work.

Work efficiently to meet project deadlines and budget goals.

Work and coordinate with different trades throughout the project timeline.

Professionalism and Leadership:

Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and trade partners.

Cultivate a professional atmosphere on the jobsite.

Be respectful of client's property.

Maintain a neat appearance.

Be self-motivated to solve problems and be willing to learn.

Maintain accountability and consistency.

Participate in the onboarding and training of various crew members.

Safety and Quality:

Adhere to safety and quality standards.

Maintain a safe and clean jobsite.

Maintain and care for equipment.

Requirements:

Minimum of 8 years of remodeling experience.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.

General knowledge of International Residential Building Codes.

Tools required: basic hand tools, power tools (drills, saws, nail guns, compressors, etc.).

Reliable vehicle able to transport tools and supplies.
