Job Description

Chestnut Hill Allergy & Asthma Associates is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing allergy and immunology practice. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Administer allergy immunotherapy injections in accordance with established protocols

Monitor patients for adverse reactions, including recognition and response to anaphylaxis

Perform and assist with allergy skin testing (prick and intradermal)

Assist with and monitor patients during oral food and medication challenges

Support Oral Immunotherapy (OIT) procedures, including patient monitoring and education

Assist providers with patient care, including rooming, vitals, and documentation

Perform clinical tasks such as medication administration, EpiPen education, and patient instruction

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record - eClinicalWorks

Prepare exam rooms and ensure proper stocking of medical supplies

Support clinical workflows to maintain efficient patient flow during busy clinic hours

Provide excellent patient education and customer service

Qualifications

Active LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania

Experience in allergy, asthma, or outpatient clinical setting preferred

Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond to emergencies

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
