VDM Machine Operator

The Position:

We are hiring vinyl dip molding Machine Operators for our 1st shift at our Arnold, MO Facility

Sign-on and Retention Bonus:

$500 after 6 months of continuous employment - $500 after 1 year of continuous employment.

Responsibilities:

Reads Production Cards for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances.

Reads other instructions such as special quality requirements, production rates, plastisol specifications and determines sequence of operations.

Adjusts process controls to proper setting to achieve part quality, production rates, etc.

Follow documented Procedures and Work Instructions as required to perform job functions.

Removes finished product with air or stripper bar.

Packages finished product at end of conveyor to packaging specifications called out on the Production Card.

Maintains proper machine settings throughout entire job run.

Responsible for quality of finished molded product.

Suggest any Continuous Improvement or Corrective Action activities and execute as required.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Must be able to lift up to 30lbs

Work overtime when needed

Possesses basic math and measurement skills

Ability to follow and execute work instructions

Reliable and able to arrive on time to work

Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred

Mechanically inclined

Injection molding experience

Machine operator experience preferred but not required
