Human Resources Analyst (Compensation Focus)
Position Summary
Are you a data-driven HR professional who enjoys diving deep into compensation while also gaining exposure to the full employee lifecycle? We are seeking a Human Resources Analyst to lead critical compensation initiatives while contributing to a broad range of HR functions in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
This is a fully on-site role, offering a unique opportunity to partner closely with leaders and employees on the floor and in operations. You'll play a key role in shaping fair, competitive pay practices while also building your expertise across recruiting, training, and benefits-making this an ideal position for someone looking to grow into a well-rounded HR leader.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation & Analytics (Primary Focus)
Lead market pricing and benchmarking efforts using salary surveys and industry data
Analyze internal equity and recommend pay adjustments to support consistent and fair compensation practices
Support the development and maintenance of salary structures, pay ranges, and incentive programs
Create and maintain compensation guidelines, policies, and procedures
Conduct job evaluations and maintain job descriptions and classifications
Partner with HR and business leaders to provide strategic, data-driven compensation recommendations
Monitor compensation trends and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to inform decision-making
Broader HR Exposure & Growth Opportunities
Support recruiting efforts through data analysis, workforce insights, and process improvements
Contribute to training and development initiatives by analyzing program effectiveness and participation
Assist in benefits analysis, including reporting on utilization and cost trends
Participate in cross-functional HR projects, gaining hands-on experience across multiple HR disciplines
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required
Minimum of 5 years of HR analyst experience with a strong focus on compensation, preferably within a manufacturing environment
Experience with job evaluation, market pricing, and compensation structure design
Working knowledge of compensation practices, trends, and regulatory requirements
Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
Advanced Excel and HRIS proficiency; experience with data visualization tools is a plus
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and partner with leaders at all levels
High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Professional certifications (e.g., CCP, SHRM-CP, PHR)
Experience working with compensation survey tools and systems
