Key Responsibilities 1.
Coining Operations (Core Scope) Machine Setup & Operation * Set up, calibrate, and operate minting machinery according to approved work instructions and production specifications.
* Perform basic machine adjustments and changeovers to support different minting requirements.
* Conduct routine pre operation checks to ensure equipment readiness and safe operation.
Quality Control & Inspection * Carry out in process and post minting quality checks to ensure coins meet defined specifications and quality standards.
* Identify, segregate, and report defective or non conforming items in accordance with quality procedures.
* Maintain accurate quality and production records for audit and traceability purposes.
Manual Minting Process * Perform manual minting or handling processes where required, following approved SOPs and safety guidelines.
* Ensure accurate handling, counting, and recording of materials during manual operations.
Automated Minting Process * Monitor automated minting lines to ensure smooth workflow and consistent output.
* Escalate machine irregularities, defects, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
* Support basic troubleshooting under guidance where required.
Post Coining Processes * Carry out post minting activities such as inspection, counting, packaging, labelling, and secure transfer of finished goods.
* Ensure proper documentation and reconciliation of production quantities.

Compliance, Safety & Housekeeping * Adhere to all workplace safety, security, and operational procedures at all times.
* Comply with company SOPs, quality requirements, and internal control standards.
* Maintain good housekeeping in assigned work areas to support safety and efficiency.

Team & Operational Support * Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to meet production schedules.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives related to efficiency, quality, and process reliability.
* Perform other operational duties related to minting operations as assigned by management.
Job Requirements Education & Technical Skills * Minimum secondary education or equivalent qualification.
* Ability to understand and follow technical work instructions and standard operating procedures.
* Basic mechanical aptitude or experience with machinery is an advantage.
Experience * Prior experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment is preferred but not mandatory.
* Experience in precision manufacturing, quality inspection, or machine operations is an advantage.
