CLASS A CDL Driver / Shipping Associate

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable, experienced CDL Operator/Shipping Associate to join our logistics team. This dual-role position is responsible for the safe operation of company vehicles to transport materials and finished goods, and for supporting shipping and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and values safety and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

Driving Duties (Approx. 65%)

Operate CDL-class vehicles to transport products to/from designated locations

Follow all DOT regulations and company safety protocols

Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs

Maintain accurate delivery logs and shipment records

Shipping/Warehouse Duties (Approx. 35%)

Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other equipment

Prepare outbound shipments according to customer requirements

Organize, label, and stage materials for delivery

Maintain inventory accuracy and assist in cycle counts

Ensure a clean and safe work environment in shipping and receiving areas

Requirements

Education and Experience

Valid CDL License (Class A or B)

Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred

Forklift experience required; certification a plus

Strong understanding of traffic laws and safe driving practices

Ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs, climb, bend, and sit for long periods

Must be dependable and able to work independently in all weather conditions
