Cuivre River Electric Cooperative is Missouri's largest electric distribution cooperative, located in Troy, Missouri. You would be joining a team whose purpose is to provide top tier member support for a distribution cooperative with specific focus on supporting members in person at our drive up and front counter, as well as by phone and electronic communication.

Our ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of customer service experience, banking or similar industry is preferred.

Skills and abilities that are required to perform this position successfully with or without a reasonable accommodation:

Ability to provide top tier member support in person and by electronic communication at our Lake Saint Louis Member Support Center.

Ability to operate a multiline phone system, along with computer and internal programs.

Ability to operate a cash register, processing cash, credit and other transactions.

Ability to accurately exchange information in person, over the phone and via email.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment, regularly handling high stress situations and heavy call volume.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Passion for top tier customer/member service.

High attention to detail.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Other Requirements:

Usual office conditions. Some overtime may be required, Subject to callout in the event of outages or other emergencies. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 7-8 hours per shift. The person in this position occasionally needs to move about inside the office to access filing cabinets, office machinery, etc., as well as accurately exchange information in person and electronically. This position requires 100% onsite work.

Drug, physical and background screening required as part of the pre-employment screening process.
