Academic counselor

Job Description

The Role:

As an Academic Counselor, you will play a crucial role in guiding students through their academic journey. You will provide support and advice on academic programs, course selections, and career paths.

Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students.

Assist students in developing academic plans and setting educational goals.

Provide information on academic policies and procedures.

Monitor student progress and provide interventions as needed.

Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success.

Handle inbound & outbound calls

Guide students on Study Abroad & Domestic Education Programs

Follow up with leads & convert prospects

Deliver excellent customer support

Maintain data using CRM & Excel

Ideal Profile:

Minimum 1 year experience in Telecalling / Customer Care

Strong convincing & sales skills

Ability to handle inbound & outbound calls confidently

Basic knowledge of Excel & CRM tools

Fluent in Kannada
